About Us
Set up in 2001 as a professional and passionate mid-size luthiers? workshop by three highly-skilled lute-makers and merging American, Japanese and Italian craftsmanships resulting from their twenty years experience in renowned guitar and bass companies, Emperion guitars and basses turns now into a company proudly supplying some of the most cutting-edge music instruments for any demanding musician, and, last but not least, offering cost-effective quality products - ?more quality, less money?.
At the very beginning our goal was and still is to provide quality instruments at an affordable price, it would have been more than easy to produce high-end instruments loaded with expensive (and often overpriced) hardware but this would have meant to sell only very expensive intruments, therefore we have chosen the best quality/price hardware, we've taken out the midman and decided to sell straight from our website, buy directly from Emperion Guitars.
In order to provide the best quality at the best price possible Emperion Guitars has its own production line in Japan where about 50% of the production process is completed, after that the instruments are re-finished in Italy comprehending not only quality control and set-up but also critical steps like re-finishing, hardware and electronics installation.
